One revision is included in the price. If additional concepts and revisions are requested, there will be a $25.00 added per draft.
Images/Branding/Covers (if not through MadHat) must be provided.
The cost of photos/images are not included.

For projects needed in less time or outside of business hours, a $45.00 fee will be added to your service.

Designed for authors and publishers who need images properly formatted for ebook and print books.

Includes:

Image resizing to industry-standard book dimensions
Resolution and DPI adjustment for print or digital interiors
Cropping and alignment for full-page, half-page, or inset placement
Color correction optimized for print reproduction
Files prepared to meet KDP and other publishing platform specifications

Common uses:

Author photos (front or back matter)
Interior images for memoirs, nonfiction, or illustrated books
Chapter break or section images
Cover-ready image sizing (cover design not included unless specified)

*Important:
This service prepares images for book layout and publishing compliance. It does not include full cover design, composite artwork, or advanced photo manipulation unless quoted separately.

General Photo Editing (Non-Book Use)

For clients who need images edited for digital, marketing, or personal projects not related to book publishing.

Includes:

Resizing for web, social media, or general digital use
Cropping, straightening, and basic cleanup
Brightness, contrast, and color adjustments
File optimization for screen-based use

Common uses:

Website images
Social media content
Marketing or promotional materials
Personal or archival photos

*Important:
This option focuses on basic image preparation. Advanced retouching, heavy manipulation, composites, or custom graphic design are not included unless requested and quoted separately.

Choosing the Right Option

If images will appear inside a book or be submitted to a publishing platform, the Book-Ready Image Preparation option is required.

If images are for general digital or personal use, the General Photo Editing option is appropriate.

When in doubt, clients are encouraged to confirm intended use before work begins to ensure correct file preparation.
